Announcing: TAM – 2010 SUMMER SPORTS TOURNAMENT
Telugu Association of Memphis presents 2010 Summer Sports Tournament. The tournament is for recreation and fun. Please come forward and make this event a big success. Volunteers are requested to organize this event. The following Games/Sports are currently being planned. Please register via email by 07/26/2010. Volleyball
Sand Volley Ball with up to 8 members per team. Each team with 6 players will face the opposing team on a sand volleyball court for a best of 3 sets per game. Registration fee is $40.00 per team. A team coordinator is required to submit the team details and interface with the organizers. We will try to accommodate individuals interested that are not part of a team as well. If you are not part of a team, please indicate so and you will be placed into one of the participating teams. Refreshments will be provided for the semi-finals and finals.

Tennis-Singles (For Men and Women)
Tennis-Singles tournament for men and Tennis-Singles for women is a great way to meet other players in the area. Registration fee is $5.00 per player. The semi-finals and finals will be a 3-set match. All other matches will be played as Pro-set. In a Pro-set only 1 set will be played. The set should be played until a player reaches 8 points. Tie breaker will be for 12 points (unlike 7 in a regular set).All matches will be played as knock-outs.

Caroms Singles (For Kids, Men and Women)
Caroms tournament is being planned for Kids, men and women separately. Registration fee is $10.00 per player. Caroms is planned for July 31st afternoon. A detailed schedule will be published to all the participants as soon as possible. All equipment will be provided. Hurry up and register as soon as possible.

Ping Pong Singles (For Men and Women)
Ping Pong tournament is being planned for men and women separately. Registration fee is $10.00 per player. Ping Pong is planned for July 31st afternoon. A detailed schedule will be published to all the participants as soon as possible. All equipment will be provided. Hurry up and register as soon as possible.

Chess (For K-6 grades and Open for all)
Chess tournament is being planned for kids K-6 grade and open for all separately. Registration fee is $10.00 per player. Chess is planned for July 31st afternoon. A detailed schedule will be published to all the participants as soon as possible. All equipment will be provided. Hurry up and register as soon as possible.
